Refund policy

We have a 7 business day return policy, which means you have 7 business days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@kumufoods.in. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: KUMU Premium Dryfruits, Shop No. 03, Anand Complex, Vanaz Corner, Paud Road, Kothrud, Pune - 511038

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We take great pride in the quality and freshness of our dry fruits and spices. Due to the perishable nature of our products, we have a specific policy regarding returns and refunds to ensure food safety and quality.

1. Non-Returnable Items (Our Core Policy)

Due to the nature of our products, all food items, including dry fruits and spices, are final sale and cannot be returned. We also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

This policy is in place to guarantee the integrity and safety of the food products we send to all our customers. Once an item has left our facility, we cannot ensure its proper handling or storage, and therefore cannot accept it back for resale.

2. Damaged or Incorrect Products

Your satisfaction is our top priority. Please inspect your order upon reception. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To report a damaged or incorrect order, please provide us with the following:

Your order number.

A clear photo of the damaged/incorrect product and its packaging.

Upon review, we will happily offer a refund or a replacement at no additional cost to you.

3. Cancellations

We understand that mistakes can happen. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We can only process cancellations if the order has not yet been shipped. Once a shipping label has been created, we are unable to cancel the order.

Exchanges

Due to the perishable nature of our products and for food safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges for items that have been correctly delivered. All sales are considered final once the order has been shipped.

However, in the event that you received an incorrect item in your order, the fastest way to resolve the issue and ensure you get what you want is to contact us immediately. Once we confirm the error, we will either refund you for the incorrect item or ship the correct item to you as a separate order.

Please note: We do not offer exchanges based on changes in preference for an item's taste, texture, or appearance.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you by email once we’ve received and inspected the documentation and photos of your damaged or incorrect order. We will then let you know if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed. This time frame is dependent on your bank or credit card company's processing times.

If you have not received your refund within 15 business days of our approval notification, please first check your bank account again. Then, contact your bank or credit card company. There is often some processing time before a refund is officially posted.
